Q. How does the process work?
A. It is a 2-day process. Day 1: the pavers are throughly cleaned with a cleaning solution. We allow 24-48 hours to ensure the pavers are completely free of moisture. Day 2: we re-sand the pavers, as needed, then apply the sealant to the pavers. The sealant will be sufficiently dry to walk and drive on within 2.5 - 3 hours after application.
Q. What causes the white look on my pavers?
A. Once the pavers are sealed, moisture can become trapped under the sealer which causes a “milky” appearance to the pavers. A common cause is sealer being applied to pavers that are not completely dry. Too much sealer applied to pavers can also cause this "milky" appearance.
Q. I have some “dips” in my driveway, can you level those pavers?
A. Yes, we will assess the condition of the pavers and make minor repairs as needed.
Q. How long does the sealer last?
A. There are many factors that affect the life of the sealer. Most common are; exposure to cleaning solutions and chemicals, the quality of the initial application of the sealer, and the type of sealant that was initially applied. Gulf Coast Paver Restoration prides itself on Customer Satisfaction. That is why we offer a One Year Warranty. You can rest assured that you are receiving the highest quality work and materials.
Q. I have had my pavers sealed in the past and the work was not done correctly; can you restore my pavers?
A. Yes we can. When a sealing job is not done correctly many unfortunate results may occur. The most common being sealing damp pavers, sand and debris trapped in the sealer and applying too much sealer to the paves. Once this occurs, the old sealer must be stripped off and new sealer reapplied. We can help you.
